Health and Safety Consultant to sit within our clients Consulting Group. This is a senior role and will require someone to be able to provide high level Health and Safety Consultancy advice and proposals to new and existing clients.The role is mobile and flexible in manner, but realistically candidates need to be based within a reasonable distance from our clients London office. Many of their clients are from a facilities management context so the health and safety issues are those associated with running a business and operating a portfolio of properties in a range of industry sectors. We do also support clients with manufacturing and technology facilities (chemical, pharmaceutical and defence) so wider experience is useful.
Reporting To: Principal Consultant
Purpose: To provide technical experience and skills to the group.
To lead or provide support in carrying out consultancy commissions.
To generate revenue income for the group by carrying out paid consultancy commissions for third parties.
To enhance the groups capabilities.
Key Accountabilities:
Identify and secure consultancy opportunities.
Generate revenue contribution toward overall group*department targets.
Organise and task-manage consultant teams when required for consultancy commissions
Contribute towards developing the consultancy business through;
" Skills*capability development
" Developing new consultancy offerings
" Identifying new markets
Provide mentor advice and guidance to junior staff.
Full compliance with ISO9001 business processes.

Personal Experience*Qualifications*Skills:
Three years previous health and safety consultancy experience including client liaison*contact and some business development
Relevant Degree and*or membership of relevant Professional Body (IOSH)
Computer literacy in typical business software applications.
